Ted Cruz, Republican U.S. Senator from Texas. Same Ted Cruz who voted to force changing legal votes of Electoral College. Went so far as to incite an insurrection.

Megacities Shortdocs hosts an international contest with festivals held in megacities (a city with more than one million inhabitants) to support the making of short (up to four minutes long) documentaries raising awareness about urban challenges and solutions. Shortdocs should focus on a social-impact initiative or an environmental-impact initiative. Registration is open. Deadline is Jan. 18, 2026.
