On Friday 12 July 2019, Lights for Liberty, a network of activist organisations, is bringing together thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, “into the streets and into their own front yards”, to protest the inhumane and illegal conditions faced by refugees.
So far, vigils are scheduled in more than seventy-five (and growing) locations around the U.S. and the world.
