With Trump, his administration, and the cadre of sycophants endlessly blaming every thing on the ‘radical left’, one should not be surprised, then, to learn that the DOJ has deleted from their website a report showing the far-right has caused more domestic violence and the far-right has caused more domestic deaths than the left, by far.
DOJ quietly removes study showing right wing attacks ‘outpace’ those by left
Removal of the study was first reported Tuesday by 404 Media, which credited Daniel Malmer, a Ph.D. student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who is studying extremism, with first noticing the removal of the study Sept. 13. Malmer said the report was up on Sept. 12. (via The Hill)
From the study:
Militant, nationalistic, white supremacist violent extremism has increased in the United States. In fact, the number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism.
Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists, including 227 events that took more than 520 lives.
In this same period, far-left extremists committed 42 ideologically motivated attacks that took 78 lives.

A Story in Numbers, Words, and Images
•••
Good Read. Stunning Numbers.
A poll conducted by veteran Democratic pollster Geoff Garin for the group Save My Country, finds a lot of people are not familiar with statements dangerous to our democracy made by Donald Trump.
“The poll asked groups of voters about ten of Trump’s most authoritarian statements: Trump’s claim that immigrants are ‘poisoning the blood of our country’; his vow to pardon rioters who attacked the Capitol; his promise to prosecute the Biden family without cause; his threat to inflict mass persecution on the ‘vermin’ opposition, and a few more.”
“Result? ‘Only 31% of respondents said they previously had heard a lot about these statements by Trump.’”
The poll was conducted in three swing states—Arizona, Michigan, and Pennsylvania—and the pollster spoke with 400 voters in each state. The pollster chose not to include anyone who “voted for Trump in 2020 and had said Biden didn’t legitimately win.” Those are likely voters who would never get behind Biden.
Once respondents were made aware of Trump’s authoritarian statements, they viewed him more negatively. (story via CommonDreams.org)
Yes, less than one-third of DEMOCRATS. Yes, stunning!
Still, I would like to add to the excellent piece by Thor Benson (staff writer at Common Dreams)…
My little addition comes in the form of images telling the story —
