Monday Ménage: Brainless Swine. Visionary Hysteria. Profit In The Republic.

Thompson. Pevernagie. Mencken.

The main problem in any democracy is that crowd-pleasers are generally brainless swine who can go out on a stage & whup their supporters into an orgiastic frenzy—then go back to the office & sell every one of the poor bastards down the tube for a nickel apiece. Hunter S. Thompson.

We must not look past the maneuvers of politicians who feel driven by intuition fed by visionary hysteria. They pretend to have a ‘privileged’ mission to shoulder but rob people’s physical or mental property, appropriating their cultural heritage. If their intuition is cautioned as vicious or murderous by reason or facts, history will forever eradicate their soul from the holy grail of humanity, especially those who want to set the world on fire for their sole ambition. Erik Pevernagie.

In the present case it is a little inaccurate to say I hate everything. I am strongly in favor of common sense, common honesty and common decency. This makes me forever ineligible to any public office of trust or profit in the Republic. But I do not repine, for I am a subject of it only by force of arms. H.L. Mencken.
