Any person who has taken the oath of office of President of the United States of America and then has their electoral legitimacy questioned every week as consequence of a federal investigation into a foreign government’s role in that election and that person additionally is named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a criminal case brought against his decades-long personal attorney does not get to dictate what is right or wrong about laws and the Constitution of this Nation.
A true patriot would believe that to be so.
But, upon release this week of a book about this person and his presidency, this person thinks laws should be changed so that the publication of any book which does not say nice things about him can be stopped by the government.
This person also thinks citizens of our Nation ought not be allowed to protest against his policies, his judicial, governmental or staff appointments, or his words and actions.
And just like any other authoritarian wannabes, this person believes our free press is the ‘enemy of the people’ ( here and here ).
