The president of The United States gave a campaign-style speech at a steel plant in Granite City, Illinois Thursday which, not surprisingly, went off topic and was filled with outright lies and misinformation.
Here are five of Trump’s lies:
1. Trump claimed that he won a majority of women voters in 2016. He did not.
2. He claimed it’s been nine months since North Korea tested a missile.
3. Trump says U.S. Steel is opening up seven new plants — but it’s not.
4. Trump lies about the size of the trade deficit with China.
5. It’s not clear Trump knows what the European Union is.
When election results on 6 November 2024 showed Donald Trump had won the Presidency, for me it was like getting punched in the face, repeatedly. I mean – repeatedly!
