Ohio Bank Calls Cops On Man Because They Thought His Paycheck Was Too Damn High. Oh,Yeah, He’s Black.
Paul McCowns was handcuffed and put in the back of a cop car after Huntington Bank employees in the Cleveland suburb of Brooklyn refused to cash his paycheck and called 911 because they thought he must be a bad guy because, well, his paycheck of a little more than $1,000 was just too damn high for a Black man.
According to cleveland19.com, McCowns showed two forms of indentification and a fingerprint as required but employees decided to call the cops anyway.
