When election results on 6 November 2024 showed Donald Trump had won the Presidency, for me it was like getting punched in the face, repeatedly. I mean – repeatedly!
My sarcasm of the earlier ‘Good Luck, America’ is obvious; so at that point I decided to take a break, to get away from our new reality. Didn’t think the break would be this long.
And now, recent sequence of events demand I get my ass back in the fight.
But if anything I’ve learned over the last nine months is that most Americans need, want, have a deep desire for more than just info about the meanness, the hatefulness, the cruelty, and the outright democracy-killing evil that is close to completely overtaking the country.
I need, now, to also show the everyday beauty of America and post more about the brave resisters who are committed to saving our democracy.
