Across the country Americans are overcome with this strange feeling. For some, it’s a new thing; for others it’s familiar but buried somewhere in the shit pail of chaos and the fears that come with that.

But now for so many the new feelings are exciting, and once cloudy memories are becoming clear. The thing appears to be on a wide path forward and spreading fast.

The thing, that Thing, is called joy! Joy for America and its promise. Joy for our families. Joy for each other. Joy for the future. And joy for a return of lost freedoms.

Even some of the shit-pail holders, who might not want to be publicly identified, are finding themselves smiling with this strange feeling of joy.

Don’t be afraid, this just might be a good thing.
