Organizers are spotlighting Trump as the central figure in their protests, with specific events planned outside Trump Towers in New York and Chicago. Dubbed the “Trump Tower TACO rally,” these gatherings will feature restaurant workers and wage advocates who aim to highlight perceived hypocrisy regarding labor issues.
The New York event is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Trump Tower on 5th Avenue, while the Chicago protest is set for 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Trump Tower on Wabash Avenue.
In addition to the prominent rallies at Trump Towers, significant demonstrations are planned in several major U.S. cities throughout the day. In Los Angeles, protesters will convene in Elysian Park; in Houston, an undisclosed address will host an event; and cities like Dallas, Jacksonville, San Diego, and Phoenix will also see gatherings at various locations and times.
For those interested in joining the movement, they can find details of protests throughout the country via the AFL-CIO’s website. Participants are encouraged to RSVP with basic personal information to receive updates on their chosen protests.
