An 18-year-old white supremacist went to a grocery market in an African American neighborhood in Buffalo, New York, on Saturday, 14 May, 2022, with an assault rifle and full body armor and – in less than two minutes – murdered 10 people and wounded three.
According to police officials, the white supremacist murderer had planned to carry out further killings at other locations. He surrendered when talked down by police.

Aaron Salter Jr., 55 – Retired 30-Year Police Officer, worked as security guard at the market where the massacre took place.
