Creating outrage, creating the ‘others’, has worked as policy since political parties were themselves created. Recently it worked for the former guy and now is working for the current cabal of far-right fascism-loving squad of Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate whose numbers are growing every day and who are unmistakably among the storm troopers marching in lock step with the sole mission of escalating the outrage as outlined in previous outrage-as-policy playbooks; the most popular edition read and used by today’s (Republican) traitors was created in Germany between the world wars.
