Attacks by Republican fundamentalists on women’s human rights in the US have accelerated over the past five-plus years. These attacks, obviously, are based on fear. Much like their brethren in countries such as Iran, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan, these U.S fundamentalists fear the power of a free woman.
We have witnessed since a certain escalator descended in 2015 the vile and disgusting attacks by Republican fundamentalists on women being coded into state legislatures across the nation, with the backing of the U.S. Supreme Court. Their actions, clearly, are those of cowards and traitors.
There is one woman, however, these fundamentalists, these cowards, fear and hate the most. She stands tall in New York Harbor on Liberty Island. She represents everything they despise: Freedom and Liberty for ALL.
But I have a message for the fundamentalists who control the Republican party and seek to take down the Lady, our women and girls, and our Democracy: You are cowards, you are punks, and your fear will be your downfall.
Furthermore, we will not let you destroy The Lady nor will we stand by and let you destroy any other woman in the United States of America.
