A 21-Year-Old Man Murdered 10 People Including A First-On-The-Scene Police Officer On Monday At A Grocery Store In Boulder, Colorado.
Officer Eric Talley was 51 years old.
He is survived by his wife and seven children.

Boulder City’s Assault Weapons Ban Blocked 10 Days Before Grocery Store Murders
Boulder County District Court Judge Andrew Hartman on Friday, March 12, blocked Boulder City from enforcing its 2-year-old ban on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines in the city.
Hartman ruled that the city ‘can’t enforce its ordinance banning the possession, transfer or sale of assault weapons and large-capacity magazines because state law says local governments can’t prohibit the possession or sale of firearms’.

One has to ask what kind of fucking country are we?
Yes, I am all for gun rights but there must be realistic, and sane, gun laws. Colorado is one of many open carry states. Open carry is insane. We are not living in the John Wayne old west. We are not in a movie. This is real shit; when a guy can carry a long rifle on his shoulder into a grocery store and murder 10 people; when a man can go on a murder spree feeling justified killing eight people; when an elected member of government (Boebert) thinks she has the right to carry a loaded weapon onto the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives; when a pissed worker can carry a automatic rifle into his workplace and murder his boss and fellow workers; when a teen believing life is a video game can walk into a school and murder dozens of students; and nothing changes, then, really, we are truly a fucked up “free” nation.
