One of the great boxers of all time and a genuine stand up guy. Undisputed middleweight champion from 1980 to 1987. His record was 62-3-2 with 52 knockouts. His knockout record is still the highest in middleweight history at 78%.
The first round in his 1985 fight with Thomas Hearns is considered the best first round ever in boxing. The fight itself is rated as one of the best even though it lasted only three rounds with Hagler beating down Hearns to a brutal knockout.
