Ieshia Evans shows us what truly is a hero. Evans is facing straight on a large number of heavily-armed cops at a Black Lives Matter protest in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2016 following the shooting by officers from BRPD of 37 year old Alton Sterling.
Evans did not back down when cops told her to leave the area and moments later she was arrested and hauled away.
Now more than ever we need more like Ieshia Evans. Our Democracy, our Freedom, our Nation is at stake. We the People, all our reasoned people, must take a stand.
