History As Reminder: Trump & Soldiers

As the Pentagon readies a $1Billion gift to Trump for his ‘wall’, military leaders need to be reminded candidate Trump took the position that soldiers returning from combat with PTSD were ‘not strong’.

Here’s a bit of what I put together in early October 2016:

Trump On Vets With PTSD: You’re Not Strong.

To a room filled with military veterans (at the Retired American Warriors PAC), the 2016 Republican presidential candidate tried to bullshit his way through a question about vets and mental health issues and ended up suggesting that soldiers returning from combat suffering from PTSD are not “strong” and “can’t handle it”.

According to reports from inside the event, “there was silence in the room after his statement and people on social media were quick to express anger toward his comments.”

Anger? Yeah! Such comments from a piece of shit who schemed his way out of military service does infuriate, does raise one’s feelings of anger; But mostly, disgust!

And, yes, I am a Vet, you coward!
