Trump Refused To Attend Remembrance Ceremony At U.S. Military Cemetery Outside Paris, Because It Was Raining.
First he refused to attend a ceremony honoring U.S. military at cemetery outside Paris because of rain. Did I mention it’s a United States of America cemetery where fallen United States of America military are buried?
(But he did find the courage to meet indoors with Vladimir Putin).
Then, on Monday, the day after Veterans Day (and the designated Federal holiday) he, Trump, that tremendous lover of Veterans, called for an end to Florida’s vote-counting – of U.S. military stationed overseas.
It appears Trump does not know or care about the law governing citizens and military living and stationed overseas.
For these voters, ballots must be postmarked no later than November 6 – election day, and, if the ballots arrive by November 16, THE LAW MANDATES THEY MUST BE COUNTED.
According to Florida Division of Elections, “A 10-day extension exists for overseas voters. The overseas voter’s vote-by-mail ballot must be postmarked or dated by Election Day and received within 10 days of the election in order to be counted, provided the ballot is otherwise proper.”
