Thursday, 25 February 2021: When asked during an appearance on Fox, if he would support presidential candidate Donald Trump in 2024, Mitch McConnell said without hesitation “absolutely”.
Thursday, 13 June 2024: OK, so now the recently convicted 34-count felon; the same guy who was called a rapist by the Judge in the civil trial and convicted for defamation and slander (where E. Jean Carroll was awarded millions); the same guy who is charged with stealing classified U.S. documents; the same guy who was recorded trying to steal votes in Georgia; the same guy who promised to be a dictator starting on day one if elected; the same guy whose ‘supporters’ looked to hang his vice-president; the same guy who has said multiple times at rallys that he will jail political opponents; the same guy who said he will go after the press and reporters – that’s the guy you’re rallying around? Really?
Ya know, Mitch, that’s the same guy who, when you were the Republican Party’s Senate leader, verbally attacked your wife over and over, demeaning her with racist attacks on her Chinese heritage. And she had been in his cabinet!
I guess you and Ted Cruz are the same kind of ‘man’. Trump also went after Ted’s wife, publicly insulted her over and over. Ted, like you, did nothing. He even took his wife to a dinner with that guy, deciding, like you, that it was easier to become a pathetic ass-kisser extraordinaire than to stand up for his wife.
