When Rudy Giuliani attached his run-down wagon to Trump’s unhinged caravan of lies and smears, little doubt he was looking for a free ride back to the days when he was seen as ‘America’s mayor’.

Unfortunately for him, that ride, a story as old as moving pictures, was not his ride back to the glory days.

So now the return on his really bad judgment on investments is a $148 million in damages verdict from a jury.

Rudy Giuliani was ordered to pay $148 million in damages to two former Georgia election workers whose lives he ruined after he spread baseless lies about them following the 2020 election.

The jury comprised of eight people and was seated in DC. Mom Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss were each awarded roughly $16 million for defamation, $20 million each for the emotional distress and $75 million total in “punitive” damages.
