Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif. and second in line of presidential succession) released a “fact sheet” breaking down Donald Trump’s “shakedown” of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a “pressure campaign” to get Zelensky to dig up dirt on his political rival, former Vice President Joe Biden, and all that followed by a way too easy to see “cover up”.

Speaker Pelosi: “President Trump has betrayed his oath of office, betrayed our national security and betrayed the integrity of our elections for his own personal political gain”.

When election results on 6 November 2024 showed Donald Trump had won the Presidency, for me it was like getting punched in the face, repeatedly. I mean – repeatedly!

My sarcasm of the earlier ‘Good Luck, America’ is obvious; so at that point I decided to take a break, to get away from our new reality. Didn’t think the break would be this long.
