Over two dozen House Republicans stormed a closed-door House Intelligence Committee deposition where Laura Cooper, Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia was to be interviewed by members of three committees involved in the Impeachment Inquiry of Donald Trump.
Led by Representative from Florida Matt Gaetz who today was not wearing a brown shirt, the Republican Storm Troopers pushed their way into the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF, pronounced & sometimes referred to as SKIFF) where the hearing was being held.
The storm troopers made their move a day after members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus met with Trump at the White House. Trump had been demanding Republicans ‘get tough’ with Democrats conducting the Inquiry.
And because those particular Wannabe Storm Troopers / Anti-Constitution Trump Sycophants, who are not members of the hearing committee, brought cell phones ‘and other electronics’ into the SCIF, that room now will have to be “sanitized”.
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D_Calif), a member of the Intelligence Committee on the actions by the Trump Storm Troopers: “They not only brought in their unauthorized bodies, they may have brought in the Russians and the Chinese.”
