Neville Chamberlain Meet Donald Trump

Betrayal for the Kurds. Appeasement for Erdogan.

Donald Trump will draw down U.S. military presence in northern Syria to make way for Turkish troops to wipe out the Kurds.

Trump’s policy of appeasement toward Turkey’s dictator is not about war and peace – it is a betrayal to the Kurds who have fought long and hard against ISIS, and alongside the United States – no, the truly disgusting move by Trump is more likely to make sure his hotel in Istanbul remains open for business.

“Thank you Prime Minister Erdogan for joining us yesterday to celebrate the launch of TrumpTowers Istanbul!” Ivanka Trump, now a top White House aide, wrote on April 12, 2012.

Neville Chamberlain was prime minister of the United Kingdom from May 28, 1937, to May 10, 1940. He’s best known for his [Foreign] Policy of “appeasement” (toward Adolf Hitler and Germany in the period immediately preceding World War II).
