History As Reminder: Oklahoma City 1995

A terrorist attack in 1995 at a Oklahoma City federal building killed 168 people including 19 children and over 850 were injured.

The bomber Timothy McVeigh, a U.S. Army veteran, had ties to right-wing anti-government groups and claimed the bombing was revenge for “what the U.S. government did at Waco and Ruby Ridge”.

McVeigh and accomplice Terry Nichols were convicted of the attack. McVeigh was executed in 2001. Nichols serving a life sentence.
