The 2016 Republican presidential candidate blamed evil media forces for his ridiculous performance at the first debate. He has blamed the media for his short-comings from the day he announced his candidacy. In fact, he has blamed someone or something for his failures his whole adult life.
And now, as president of the United States of America, this so-called leader calls the Press ‘the enemy of the people’.
Trump’s assault on the Press is escalating and it’s getting dangerous. Today at the White House briefing Sarah Sanders refused to say the Press was not the enemy.
The current ‘enemy’ is CNN’s Jim Acosta who today said “I’m tired of this”.
On Twitter, Acosta added:
I walked out of the end of that briefing because I am totally saddened by what just happened. Sarah Sanders was repeatedly given a chance to say the press is not the enemy and she wouldn’t do it. Shameful. Jim Acosta (@Acosta) August 2, 2018
